Anniversary
Today's our first wedding anniversary. Too bad we couldn't be together on this day. I just want the world to know how much I love you and how much you mean to me. When I met you, it was as if I was looking at the world through new eyes. I began to appreciate little things that I ignored before; the sound of birds as I wake up in the morning, the beads of dew in the grass, the way the rays of the sun pass through a spider web. It was as if I was seeing everything for the first time. And then we got married. It was everything I had dreamed of. Waking up lying next to you in the morning, your face being the last thing I saw before I slept. Watching TV and doing nothing but enjoy each others company. It was pure bliss, and it still is. I love you Aileen, and I want nothing but to spend the rest of my life with you. Happy Anniversary.
